The hibiscus are showing their stuff now. These blooms are dinner plate size and are just gorgeous! The mandevilla is also blooming like crazy. I hate to be gone in the summer when things are blooming. Every day there is something new in the garden.
Hi Pammiejo - You asked me about altered books...one place I would look at is ebay - just search for altered books or paper bag albums. They usually show things page by page. Mine sales on there are too old to be able to see pictures. I would do the same on Flickr. I have some pictures there and you can get to it through my blog. Figure out your style and just jump in. Paper is extremely easy to sew and you can make pockets etc. that way. Here's a website: http://www.scrapfriends.us/articles/paper_bag_album.html Also if you prefer a class check at a scrapbook or craft store. Then move on to board books. Buy one at the dollar store - and cut and paste paper on each page. Sometimes I paint it first with craft paint and sometimes not! Good luck and let me know how you do. :)Nancy
