The Ladies gathered at Village Inn for breakfast this morning for my birthday. It was good to "catch-up" with everyone. We were missing two of the ladies - one thing and another pop-up in our lives that need attention more than celebrating birthdays. We have changed our format for birthday giving. Rather than everyone bringing a gift, we've decided we're all at the point that we don't need more "stuff" so we all just chip in for one nice gift certificate for the birthday girl. So far, we think we like it! I have really great friends!

I know what you mean. I don't need anymore stuff either. I'd rather just be with my family and friends.
