Trash to Treasure Birdcage

I bought this birdcage sans bottom at a garage sale this past summer for $1 only it was a dark green. So, when everything else was getting painted white, I threw it in and painted it as well. It will be fun to put seasonal decor in it. Right now it's out in the new sunroom.
Be sure to check out Diane at A Picture is Worth 1,000 Words. There are lots of people transforming others' trash into their very own treasures.

It's very cute! I think I have one just like it...although I like your white one better.

Hi PammieJo
Love the bird cage. I've wanted to do a bird cage project. I have a few that need the TLC. I guess I time. You take care. See you next week.

Cute birdcage!
Thank You for your wonderful comments about your experience with your mother.
It is also my mom's last independence and she doesn't want to lsoe that. It is hard to take that a way.

Thanks again!

Had a nice visit with you this evening. You did a good job with the birdcage! And your family room looks a comfortable place. I know, it's so weird to realise one's children are in their 30's! Makes me think of that lovely Ann Tyler book: When we were grownups. I read The Reader in December and even did a post on it at the time. Certainly a harrowing read. I did not realise the film was already out. Well, it's quite late here so I am going to call it a day!
