The above picture shows the new pond after it was completed and newly landscaped. The photo below is just a "higher" view of the pond - you can see there are two ponds with streams connecting the upper and lower ponds.
The photo above and below shows a much more mature pond. We enjoy our pond and we're constantly "tweeking" it - adding and removing plants.
Be sure to check over at Susan's Between Naps on the Porch for other major changes people have made for Metamorphosis Monday.

Hi Pammiejo! This pond is so beautiful! I love it and I'm sure it's so peaceful to walk past and stop and gaze upon the loveliness of it!
BE a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Oh my that is so lovely, inviting, serene. It really made that space look so beautiful. Well done!!
Oh my, I am sooo jealous. This is just so inviting.
Oh how nice! It must be very relaxing just to hang out there. I like all the plants surrounding it....Christine
How spectacular!! I love ponds, and yours is very impressive.
Hi Pammiejo...your hubby did a professional looking job...it is a work of art! Love it, ;-) Bo

Lovely, lovely pond. I'd love a similar feature, but our property runs more to MUD. Thanks for sharing -- Cass
What a great retreat. I can imagine laying in one of those chairs, listening to the pond and dozing off. Steve-French Cupboard

Beautiful, now you can enjoy it for a very long time...Ann
WOW your pond is so beautiful. I would love to sit out by it and watch everything.
Hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day.♥
Your pond is just lovely. That is a project I would like to embark on. I have a nice little pool which Galahad and I enjoy but a pond adds such tranquillity to the garden. Oh, and thanks for the book hint! Must get that one. We also had Book club two weeks ago. I read 'Q and A' by the Indian writer, Vikas Swarup. Entertaining and an eye opener re India. Believe it has been made into a movie ' Slumdog Millionaire'.
What a lovely place to spend your sunny summer relaxation days.
I have come from Eleanor's Thatchwick Cottage to visit my winning colleagues' blogs.
