One Last Christmas Post

I have to make one last Christmas post about the decorations in my friend Janice's house. She has an artist's heart and mind. She took an old artificial tree - removed some of the branches - found the white spray paint and sprayed the tree - she then decorated in a grand Victorian style. One year she used all old costume jewelry on it and it was great! Now, it's a combination of beads, gold, white, and pink - flowers and ornaments - all in the Victorian style. Please click to see it larger! This is just one of her trees - all of them equally grand!

Sharron and Janice have produced wonderful Christmas decor. Please convey my admiration and I have even made some notes for myself for ideas next year. One kind of runs out of ideas and Christmas sneaks up so quickly in December, I tend to get stale.

Hi Pammiejoe!

Thanks for the warm welcome back!
I've enjoyed catching up on your blog --the desk your husband made is really wonderful.
You are so right that we will have long waits inbetween visits to see our grandson, but I'm sure the moments we are able to spend with him as he grows up will all be very special.

HAPPY 2009!

Hugs, Pat

Hi Pammiejo - I linked to your blog from Susan's backporch - your comments regarding her poll were of interest to me. I agree with you, I love books and have a long list of most of the books I have read during the year posted on my blog... (I keep a spreadsheet so I don't accidently duplicate..LOL). I thought I'd drop by and see if you did the same... not disappointed... I've found a few on your list that I'll just have to add to my wish list for 2009.
I've enjoyed reading your blog, and that desk from a door is amazing... Guess I'll have to point that one out to my Ricky first chance I get.
Have a blessed New Year, and drop by to see me in French Lique, Texas blog when you have a chance.
